The Pacific region includes the Chocó, Valle del Cauca, Cauca and Nariño departments. This region is well known by the beauty of its beaches which refreshes the population from the hot and humid weather. However, we can not avoid mentioning the fact that this region is famous because its delicious dishes, all of them based on the fishing which supports the economic activity of the region.

This region has some rivers such as the Atrato, San Juan, Patia, Baudo, Mira, Iscuande, Micay, Telembi, Anchicaya, Naya, Calima, Timbiqui, Dagua and Yurumangui. Talking about the mountain variety of this region, there are the Baudó and Darién ranges.

Lastly, the Pacific region is a beautiful place to visit and to know. Everyday is different there, because everything depends on the tide which can remove the water 150 Km from the beach.
